This short film explores our growing awareness of vulnerability in the digital world even when protected by complex, lengthy passwords. Pauline metaphorically breaks open the film image to reveal the invisible forces at play behind the screen. After all, those who control technology also hold power over how truth is presented or manipulated.

The glitches remind us that technology is not infallible; it, too, can fail. Inspired in part by Gerhard Richter’s Scraped Paintings, which peel away the surface to expose hidden layers, this work aims to tear open the polished façade of online life.
