Fast Landscape Connection Lost – 2025, mixed media, acrylic and hand embroidered with DMC thread

In the style of my Fast Landscapes series, Connection Lost portrays speed through slow handwork, as a quiet protest against the acceleration of our high tech era. The crossing highway and bridge symbolize polarization and the loss of connection.

They reflect how people are increasingly divided, unwilling to listen or understand one another, and how connection fades. The color palette intensifies the tension, evoking the underlying friction between resistance and progress.
